Ingenious Blockchain-based Data Protocol, Symphony, Concludes Europe Tour with Hallmark Connections

By Charlotte Kng

21 August 2018, Singapore — Ingenious blockchain-based data protocol, Symphony , wrapped up the final leg of its Europe tour in the heart of Berlin yesterday evening. The token project has been sending waves across Europe through the past week as it rummaged through Paris, Zurich and Berlin, leaving the crowd intrigued with a rare glimpse into the world of ICO through the eyes of an insider.

The tour was a celebrated collaboration between tokenized platform Himalaya Capital Exchange and game-changing data protocol ecosystem Symphony, with a vision to empower businesses around the world with smarter data intelligence.

Here’s a quick roundup on the key takeaways of the tour:

First stop: London. Creation of new asset classes with Blockchain.

Symphony’s stop in London was a cozy one hosted at Rise London along Luke Street, with a colorful profile of institutional funds, private investors, project owners and media. London stood out as a district with a very high “Blockchain IQ”; many were well-informed of the inner-workings of protocols like Symphony, allowing for fruitful conversations and rewarding experiences.

Key topics that stirred the night included thresholds on decentralization as well as how to balance the tradeoffs between scalability, security and decentralization, with a good handful showing interest in Symphony’s marketing plan and user acquisition strategy with the initial resources.

Second stop: Paris. What makes an ICO worth investing and an outlook of ICO market and future directions

Paris included 2 meetups: A casual meetup at Hippopotamus pub at 6 Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt, as well as a formal presentation the following day at Hotel Sofitel Arc de Triomphe. The Paris meetups were teeming with dialogue about the evolving state of the ICO market, and corresponding evolutions of marketing strategies. Many also radiated interest in the data-driven protocol Symphony is based on, and offered to contribute both connections to resources as well as managing Symphony’s community in France.

Overall, the affair gained an optimistic amount of traction — a promising sign for a project still in its infancy.

Third stop: Zurich. East to West, observations in the Crypto market

Zurich was a gift by itself; it held one of the most complete crypto ecosystems to date: project owners, lawyers, investors, crypto-specific auxiliary service providers and academic researchers. With an intellectual crowd came a myriad of reasonable technical parleys, setting a friendly stage for Symphony to share its cutting-edge technical builds and mechanisms that are engineered to safeguard the biggest worry in data: privacy

Last stop: Berlin. View of an ICO insider and what makes an ICO worth investing

Symphony’s final stop in Berlin saw vivacity that was far from lacking. Attendees were intrigued by the opportunity to sneak a peek through the eyes an insider in the ICO space and were pleasantly surprised by the solutions Symphony has to offer as a protocol engineered to safeguard data-privacy. The overall reception was visibly positive, closing the tour on a promising note.

“Broadly speaking, we look at events as a chance to build support for the project from investors, partners and community members, and to collect feedback to fine tune our ideas.

With respect to Europe, Feida and myself have had a productive week on our European roadshow, covering 5 events in 4 cities: London, Paris, Zurich & Berlin. We have come away with a strong appreciation for the strength of and the diversity of the blockchain and community within Europe. For Symphony, we got a lot of useful feedback that we can incorporate into the project. We also came away with some meaningful contacts, and look forward to developing those further in the future. ”

– Eleanor Jones, Co-Founder of Symphony

Symphony would like to thank all who have attended the events and showed interest in our project.
