Developing:

1.Measurable AI, the big data analysis platform of MDT ecosystem, is under development. Measurable AI anonymizes and aggregates a huge amount of raw data, and transforms it into consumer insights and industry trends. Data buyers can tailor and customize the data reports based on their needs and goals.

 

The engineering team has finalized the development plan and finished library integration. Now they have entered the second developing sprint, and finished dashboard skeleton setup and testing environment setup.

We plan to launch an exclusive beta version of Measurable AI for invited enterprises by the end of this year! Stay tuned!

 

2. MailTime app Android version updates a series of functions of photo attachment preview. New features include: pinch photos to zoom in/out; preview all image attachments; share photo attachments with third party apps.

In addition, We are going to provide one-of-a-kind MailTime iMessage stickers for MailTime iPhone users! The adorable cartoon character features afro hairstyle, a pair of nerdy glasses, and a blue T-shirt with MailTime logo on it. iPhone users will be able to use the stickers in iMessage once the new MailTime version is available in Apple App Store!

MDT Founder Heatherm Huang was invited onto a popular tech podcast China Tech Talk as a guest. This show is a weekly podcast about what’s happening on the ground in China’s tech and startup ecosystems. It is hosted by John Artman, Editor-in-Chief of TechNode English, and Matthew Brennan, founder of ChinaChannel.

Heatherm shared his story about creating TalkBox, the first “push to talk” instant messaging app in China, and retrospected the fierce competition among messaging apps in China seven years ago.

In early 2011, TalkBox topped the category of IM apps in Apple App Store just a month after it was launched. It used to be the largest rage among VCs and investors in China. However, Wechat, the aggressive competitor developed by Chinese tech giant Tencent, copied the “push to talk” feature from TalkBox and gradually dominated the market. That left TalkBox losing its users and finally shutting down in 2013.

He graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong(CUHK) in 2017 with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. So basically he is a designer who can code as well.
