Over 400 “senior decision makers” are paying a visit to the forum, the group claimed. According to the event schedule, high-ranking officials from Slovenia, Israel, Russia, Finland, Italy, Serbia and other countries are going to be involved in discussions.

Hyperledger, Ripple, IOTA and other blockchain company’ executives would also say their piece on blockchain application in various areas, according to the OECD’s published schedule.

Before the event, the OECD’s Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Competition Committee has introduced a leaflet called “Blockchain Technology and Competition Policy,” which explained the technology and its use for government and public needs.
