The user interface has been slightly changed and we hope that you like it.

And the cherry on top, Strategies have been added !

Please note that this is a preview / trial as Strategies will be part of a paid service and will be disabled from the free version when we will launch our website.

What are Strategies ?

Strategies are a way to bundle up multiple simple trades and scenarios, for the same trading pair and execute them automatically in you desired order.

For example you want to buy low ? and sell high ? automatically.

Traditionally you can only do that by placing a trade, waiting for it to fulfill and then placing another trade and waiting for it to fulfill.

In this case, using Whale Tail, you will be able to create 2 trades and execute them automatically in your desired order under one Strategy.

How can I create a strategy ?

First of all, select New Strategy from Whale Tail menu.

This will take you to the “New Strategy” screen.

The screen is composed of:

  • Strategy label input ( add something descriptive to label your strategy and differentiate it in the strategies list )
  • Already existing autocomplete trades selector ( using this selector you can add existing trades to the strategy’s trades list ). After selecting a trade from this selector, the trade will be removed from the trades list and will be added to the strategy’s trades list.

From the trades list you can:

  • Drag and reorder trades while grabbing them by the order number
  • Disable trades by toggling the checkbox
  • Double clicking the label will allow you to edit the trades properties
  • Clicking the “ — ” will permanently remove the trade

After you confirm the strategy, it will be placed in the strategies list, ready for execution.

From the strategies list you can:

  • Disable strategies by toggling the round checkbox
  • Double clicking the label will allow you to edit the strategies label and add or remove trades
  • Hovering the strategy and clicking the “ — ” will permanently remove the strategy

That’s it!

Pretty easy right ?

If you enjoyed this tool feel free to spread the word and share it with your friends.

Best of luck at trading and growing into a big WHALE !
